Biography

A background in care, a practical approach

Kim works with individuals and couples, both in person and online, offering support that is confidential, practical and centred around each person she sees. Her approach is warm and non-judgemental, moving at a pace that feels manageable.

Her path into psychology began in healthcare. She trained and worked as a nurse, including in neonatal care, before completing a Master's degree in psychology at the University of Johannesburg in 2009 and registering as a psychologist in 2010.

From 2017 to 2020 she practised in Doha, Qatar, supporting clients from a wide range of backgrounds, before returning to private practice in Edenvale. She also facilitates couples workshops informed by Gottman relationship principles.
